Arthur N. Rodriguez

Arthur N. Rodriguez, 79, of Energy, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, at Deaconess Regional Healthcare in Marion, Illinois.

Arthur was born on March 1, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, to Isaac and Margaret (DeCasta) Rodriguez. He was a man who found joy in the simple things in life and took pleasure in the hobbies and interests that meant so much to him. Arthur enjoyed gardening, listening to music, playing the guitar, fishing, and graphic design. He especially treasured the time he spent with his family, and the memories he made with his children and grandchildren will be cherished by them forever.

He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Rodriguez; his children, Jason (Debbie) Rodriguez of Clinton, Illinois, Joel Rodriguez of Chicago, Illinois, Jaron Rodriguez of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Jada Rodriguez of Chicago, Illinois; his siblings, Rudy Rodriguez, Ralph Rodriguez, Catherine Harris, Jovita Bieze, and Craig Kincy; and his nine grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Margaret Rodriguez; his siblings, Angelo Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, Angela Sandoval, Rachel Kincy, and Raymond Rodriguez; and his late wife, Kathy.

Although Arthur will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, his memory will live on through the many lives he touched.

The Ministry of Comfort was lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
