Billy Dean Huffstutler

Billy Dean Huffstutler, age 59, of Murphysboro, Illinois passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, peacefully at his residence.

He was born on December 13, 1964, to the late Billy E. and Amy E. “Peggy” (Cripps) Huffstutler in St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up mostly in Grand Tower, Illinois and graduated from Shawnee High School.

Billy enjoyed life the best way he knew how and hoped he could make others around him laugh along the way. He didn’t ask for very much and always helped others if he could.

He often enjoyed camping trips, watching his favorite football team, the Raiders, music concerts and listening to his favorite band AC/DC.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Nicole Montoya and grandchildren of Signal Mount, TN; son, Bryan Huffstutler and family of Staunton, IL; nephew, John Ardrey of Jefferson City, MO; niece, Deana Ardrey of Murphysboro, IL; nephew, Joe Ardrey of Missouri; great nephew, Billy Jack Reed of Murphysboro, IL and many close friends as family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Diana Ardrey.

In accordance with the wishes of Billy Dean Huffstutler cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date followed by Inurnment in Walker Hill Cemetery of Grand Tower, Illinois.

Memorials may be direct to the family at this time.
