Chris Ann Brewer, 61, of Carterville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Herrin Hospital.
She was born on August 5, 1964.
Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ray Brewer of Waterford, MI, and her brother, Lloyd Brewer Jr.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Kempf (Crystal); her daughter, Rebecca Hill (Matt Doss); seven cherished grandchildren; her brother, Tom Brewer (Sonya); and her sisters, Mary McCool (Greg) and Brenda Chaney (Faris).
Chris will be remembered for her laughter, her kindness, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family reunion in the summer of 2026.
The Ministry of Comfort has been lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
