Danny Arthur Welch

Danny Welch, 71, of Carbondale, Illinois, passed away at his home on October 6, 2026.

Danny was born on January 19, 1955, in San Gabriel, California, to Gerald and Mary Welch.

In his free time, Danny enjoyed reading and listening to good music. He was a devoted fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Yankees. Danny also attended Southern Illinois University and was employed as an associate at Walmart.

Danny was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gerald and Mary Welch.

He leaves behind his brother, Troy Welch, and his sister, Shelly Villalobos, who will cherish his memory. He is also survived by his nieces, Gabriella Villalobos (Matthew) Reynolds, Alexandra Villalobos (Dominick) Vennari, Isabella Villalobos, and Sophia Villalobos.

Danny will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the memories they shared and the lasting place he holds in their hearts. May he rest in peace.
