Debra Martin

Debra Ann Martin, lovingly known as “Momma,” passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at 3:35 a.m. at Marion Deaconess Hospital, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was 64 years old.

Debra was born on October 3, 1960, to the late Marylin R. Billingsley and Delbert A. Martin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy D. Drewery; her sister, Desiree L. Reinbold; and her brothers, Michael S. Martin, Delbert A. Martin and Charles J. Martin.

Debra is survived by her devoted daughter, Marylin Marie Martin (Richard) of Murphysboro, IL, and her loving son, David Dalton Martin (Jordan) of Olive Branch, MS. She was a proud grandmother to Tyler K. Martin (Shelby), Ashley H. Baltzell (Garrett), David M. Martin, and Richard L. Martin. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Charli M. Martin, Salem L. Martin, and Jasmyn R. Baltzell and her sister, Delaine Martin.

A woman of many passions, Debra found great joy in gardening, crocheting, and watching NASCAR. She especially loved showing off her prized show truck, winning every competition she entered with pride and enthusiasm. Her warmth, humor, and kindness left an impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was truly loved by all.

Her memory will be forever held in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm with the services starting at 12:00 pm.
