Jarvis Lee Fitzgerald was born on May 29, 1961, in Decatur, Alabama, as the second of four children to the union of Jervis Stuart Fitzgerald Sr. and Donna Lee Lyle.
Jarvis received his early education at Miramonte Elementary, Thomas Edison Junior High, and JC Fremont High School in Los Angeles, California. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Peter's Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, where his faith began to guide his life.
Jarvis is survived by his loving wife, Alice Fitzgerald, his brother Jervis Fitzgerald Jr. (Herminia), and his two sisters, Casandra Hall (Dexter) of Lancaster, California, and La Sonya Sykes of Toledo, Ohio. He also leaves to cherish his memory two aunts: Annie Ellison of Toledo, Ohio, and Patricia McGruder of Santa Clarita, California, along with extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Jarvis was preceded in death by his parents, Jervis Stuart Fitzgerald Sr. and Donna Lee Lyle.
He will be remembered for his enduring faith, kind spirit, and the lasting bonds he created with those around him. Jarvis' memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
