John "Johnny" Ray Schneider

Johnny Ray Schneider, 72, of Anna, Illinois, passed away on April 11, 2025, at Carbondale Hospital.

Johnny was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, John Arnold Schneider; his mother, Jewel (Holmes) Schneider; and his beloved son, Johnny Arnold Schneider.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Darlene Schneider; and three stepchildren: Paula Doolin (Joel), Beth Stell, and Tracey Bramlett. He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Johnny will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. He touched the lives of many with his warmth and compassion. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Final Arrangements were Entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
