Karen S. Bush

Karen Sue Bush, 76, of Herrin, Illinois left this world to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 27, 1947, to Houston and Alice (Bardmess) Dailey in Murphysboro, Illinois.

She was a long-time member of the Crab Orchard Boat and Yacht Club and was an avid fisherwoman.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (Kathy) Neace of Abingdon, VA, Shery (John) Lyon of Makanda, IL, Charlie (Kim) Neace of Murphysboro, IL and Larry (Vicki) Neace of Park Hills, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Dailey and Dennis Dailey; two sisters, Vicky Evans and Kim Varnum; a close friend, Kathy Shoemake; and her dog, Sadie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Alice Dailey; her husband, Carl Bush; two brothers, Wayne and Kevin Dailey; and one grandson.

Funeral Services will take place Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Southern Cremation and Burial Services, 1017 N. 14th St. Murphysboro, IL 62966 with Pastor Robert Neace, Officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro, Illinois. A visitation will occur from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
