Kenneth David Nixon

Kenneth David Nixon, 55, of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 19, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Donald and Virginia (Hayes) Nixon.

Kenneth is survived by his children: Kenneth Hren and wife Shayna, Kevin Nixon-Watt, and Danielle Foster. He was a proud grandfather to McKenna Atkinson, Zane Hren, Kingston Hren, Klaydn Nixon, Kadence Nixon, Byntley Hull, and Brayden Hull. He is also survived by his sisters, Kristi Ashford and Nikki Nixon, as well as nieces and nephews including Kristi Nixon, James Nixon, Tesla Travelstead, and Sean Travelstead.

Kenneth was a devoted father who loved his family deeply. He was a hardworking man who found joy in playing the guitar, a passion that brought music and happiness into his life. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Ministry of comfort was lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
