Larry Alan Syverson

Larry Alan Syverson, 63, recently of Marion, IL, formerly of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025.

Larry was born on February 15, 1962 in Evergreen Park, IL to the late Vernon and Eileen (Vetterick) Syverson. Larry graduated from TF South High School, and studied photography at South Suburban College. He worked in Quality Control for the majority of his life.

Larry was all about his love of music, fishing and photography! He enjoyed going to concerts, catching a Cubs game, and just hanging out listening to music. Larry’s favorite fishing spot was Lake Egypt, catching crappies all day long! Larry had many struggles throughout his life, may he rest in peace. Memories are the timeless treasures of the heart.

Larry is survived by his son (Alexander), granddaughter, brother Glen Syverson (Nancy), niece Crystal Miloshoff (Michael), nephew Kyle (Krystina), great-nieces and nephews, and friends.

At Larry’s request, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a future date.

Ministry of Comfort was entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
