Lisa Yvette Watson-Pritchett

Lisa Watson Pritchett, age 64, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, with her children by her side. She was born on December 20, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Watson and Amalia DuVall.

Lisa wore many different hats throughout her life, but being a nurse was always her true calling. She especially enjoyed working in group homes, where she could care for and connect with others in a meaningful way.

She was an avid reader and proudly embraced her role as a devoted cat lover. Lisa often joked that she loved her cats more than she liked most people—a reflection of her unique spirit and sense of humor.

She is survived by her two children, Charles “Chad” Pritchett and Chelsea Pritchett; her six grandchildren, Brock Pritchett, Mason Palmer, Brayden Pritchett, Jillian Pritchett, Jude Rushing, and Amelia Gale; one great-grandchild, Blayke Palmer; as well as many friends and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents and the father of her children.

Ministry of comfort was lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
