Lynn Ann (Brayfield) Moore, born September 13, 1955, departed from this earth surrounded by her family on May 13, 2026.
Sharing 53 years of marriage with her husband Kenneth Warren Moore, they centered life around love, laughter, and family. Lynn was a devoted and loving mother to Gabe, Shelly, Shane and Joshua, mother-in-law to Mandy, Ashlie, Tara, and Tim. Her grandchildren Blake, Kane, Alex, Cole, Dillon, Maeven, and Isla Rose who called her “Memaw” and “Mimi”, knew nothing but endless love, adoration, and affection. They were the light of her life. Her love extending far beyond blood, she also cherished her bonus daughter and grandson, Nikki and Lucas.
Lynn shared an especially close bond with her granddaughter Maeven, one that will forever remain treasured.
Lynn had a deep love for animals, especially her horses and dogs, who brought immense joy to her life. An incredibly talented crafter, her creativity brought magic to every holiday. Her grandchildren will forever carry the memories of her handmade Halloween costumes which became a cherished family tradition.
She will be remembered for her love and devotion to family, her creativity, her kind heart and the warmth and light she brought into every room. Her love stitched a virtual blanket of memories that will cover generations of all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Gabe, mother-in-law Wilma, sister Debra, and her brother Billy.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Residential Hospice with special recognition to Kara, Callie and Logan who not only took great care of our beloved mother but extended their love and support to our father during this time.
Per Lynn’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Ministry of Comfort was lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
