Michael "Eric" Walker

Michael "Eric" Walker, of Carbondale Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, at his home. Born on December 19, 1966, to James and Jan Walker, Eric grew up in Carbondale. He was an avid High School Wrestler, served in the National Guard for six years, and later worked as a custodian at Sunset Ridge School.

He is survived by his son, Bradly Jones; his mother, Jan Walker; and his sisters, Jamie and Jennifer Walker, along with numerous other relatives and friends. We have been blessed over the years, to have had such dedicated and nurturing Personal Assistants who greatly enhanced his life. Eric will be remembered for his service and dedication to his family and community. May his charming smile live on in the memories of those who knew him well.

In accordance with the wishes of Michael "Eric" Walker cremation rites have been accorded. 

Final arrangements were lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
