Pamela Ann Burns

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pamela Ann Burns, 72, of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Pamela was born on August 12, 1953, in Rockford, Illinois, to the late Harlen and Ethel Masters. In 1972, she married the love of her life, Danny Burns, and together they shared many years of love and devotion. Pamela worked as a customer service representative for T-Mobile for several years, where she was known for her friendly nature and dedication to helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Danny Burns; and her sister, Marsha Drye.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Robert Burns, Jennifer Burns and son-in-law Jeremy Evans; her brothers, Rodney Masters and Jimmy (Mary) Masters; along with other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Pamela's warmth, generousity and kindness, touched the lives of all who knew her. She was always willing to go out of her way to help anyone in need. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

The Ministry of Comfort was lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
