Robert A. "Bebop" Glasco

Robert A. “Bebop” Glasco was born on May 12, 1963 in Charleston, MO, to
William and Lacella Glasco.

Robert accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He received his education in
Carbondale Public School System. Robert embarked into a beautiful journey with the love of his life, Lita Ray together, with
love, they raised two daughters. Robert loved helping anyone he encountered.

As a young man he loved driving. While on that road, it allowed him to see many things, many places and meet many people.
Robert’s passion was his family, later in life his desire for caring grew greater earning him lifelong
friends along the way. Robert enjoyed, working on cars, moving furniture, working in the yard, and
cooking. He also appreciated sitting outside with his wife, visiting his family while listening to music, and
watching his grand children grow. Robert had an art for telling stories and giving people knowledgeable
information. To know Robert was a life enhancing experience.

On the evening of Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 6:52pm., God called home one of his
greatest soldiers. Robert’s work on this earth has been completed, leaving behind a legacy of guidance
and love. Now he is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by
his mother, father, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Loving  Wife, Lita Ray Glasco of
Murphysboro, IL; His two daughters, Tiffney Glasco (Rico) of Carbondale, IL; Daffney Glasco (Jay) Elerby of Murphysboro, IL; His siblings, Shirley (Robert) Kent of Carbondale, IL; Johnny (Joyce) Glasco of South
Bend, IN; Terry Glasco of South Bend, IN; Norman Glasco of Montegomery, AL; Joe Scott of Carbondale, IL; Russell
Scott of South Bend, IN; Sonny Glasco and Tony Glasco of Springfield, IL, 10 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
