Sara N. Bolter-Hale, 38, of Murphysboro, Illinois, passed away on October 27, 2024, in Grand Tower. Born on March 4, 1986, in Carbondale, Illinois, Sara was the beloved daughter of Scott and Rose Hale.

Sara worked as the manager of Circle K, where she was admired for her leadership and dedication. Known for her outstanding mentorship, she built lasting connections with her team and customers. Sara’s vibrant personality extended beyond work—she enjoyed playing in pool leagues, motorcycle rides, vacations in Florida, and time spent with her two cherished dogs, Tank and Roxy, along with memories of her late companion Buttercup. With her outgoing spirit and love for socializing, Sara touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Sara is survived by her two children, Daniela Zaragoza and Ryan Fricke of Murphysboro; her mother, Rose Hale of Murphysboro; her sister, Sandi (Steve) of Carterville; and her nieces, Skyler and Bridget; along with nephew, Tyler. She also leaves behind her uncle, Steve Hale; aunt, Shelly Harrison; and her boyfriend, Nicholas Bastien.

She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Hale; her grandparents, John and Blanche Hale; and her uncle, Stan Hale.

Sara's warmth, humor, and passion for life will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her family, friends, and the countless memories she created with them.

A Celebration of Sara’s Life will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 3:00pm at Southern Cremation and Burial Services, 1017 N. 14th Street, Murphysboro, Illinois 62966 as her loved ones come together to honor her memory and cherish the joy she brought to their lives.

Final arrangements were lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
