Shirley J. Parker

Shirley J. Parker, 74, of Bonnie, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, with her devoted husband by her side.

Born on May 26, 1950, in Decatur, Indiana, to the late Evan and Ruth (Hollinger) Young, Shirley was known for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Kenneth Parker; her cherished daughter, Cindy Brown; and her brother, William “Bill” Young. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Scotty Young.

Honoring Shirley’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.

Final arrangements have been lovingly entrusted to Southern Cremation and Burial Services of Murphysboro, Illinois.
