Tatayana M. Taylor

Tatayana Mariah Taylor, affectionately know as "Toddy", age 24, traded time for eternity on January 2, 2023 at 11:11 am.

She was born in Carbondale, Illinois on August 30, 1998, to Terrance Taylor and Marshanda Gibbs.

"Toddy" received her education in the Murphysboro School System District 186, graduating in 2016.

She was employed by Penn Aluminum later joining the Intertape Polymer Group in Carbondale, IL until her passing.

Toddy was a loving person with a heart of gold. She was most excited when she became the mother of her baby boy, Rhylend Creed Taylor.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend. She will sadly be missed by the many lives she touched.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Rhylend C. Taylor; her mother, Marshanda Gibbs; her father, Terence Taylor; her siblings, Ariel Wyatt, Marquis Smith, Terry Massey, Destiny and Delawnia Smith, Mia and Tori McMillian; her grandfather Roy Lee James; her aunts, Tyzia and Markeea Gibbs and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sheila Gibbs and Phyliss Cooper; one special aunt, Cheryl Miner.
