William Wayne Bozarth

William Wayne "Bill" Bozarth, 76, of Elkville, Illinois, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

He was born on February 2, 1949, in Stonefort, Illinois, to the late Hermon and Olga (Campbell) Bozarth.

Wayne lived a humble and hardworking life, holding various odd jobs over the years. He found joy in the outdoors, especially in fishing, hunting, and trapping beavers for the City of Marion—activities that brought him peace and purpose.

He is survived by his children: David Bozarth (and Nancy Jones), Carla Bozarth, Billie Jo McClung, Mickolena Chaney.

Also surviving are his sister, Marge Powell; nephews, Ed Parker and Jason Taylor; Brenda Donelson; and many other relatives and friends who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Olga Bozarth; his brothers, John, Bob, Rodger Bozarth and Rick Lindsey; and his children, Russell and Cattina Bozarth, along with their mother, Dalynn Bozarth.

Wayne’s memory will live on through the lives of those who knew and loved him.
